Problem with Maxis E762 Modem is that, when you insert a Non-Maxis broadband card into it, you would require to key-in an Unlock Code. Since you paid for the modem, I do not see why you should be relying at 1 Provider (especially when you are staying in Malaysia)
Thus I decided to perform some re-branding and reset the firmware back to its original stage.
To do so, you would require to download the Client_Software_WINMACB300D00SP01C03_(UTPS11.300.13.00.03_MAC11.301.06.00.03)_(For_WINXP&2K&Vista_&MAC)_(05019427).zip from either huaweidevice.com or from my mirror site in google docs <by clicking here>
